About Faithful Doodles

My name is Julie, and I am a blessed wife to an amazing husband and a mother to three wonderful kids. My love for animals began as a child growing up with a father who was a large animal veterinarian. This experience exposed me to many different types of animals and gave me the chance to raise everything from dogs and cats to horses, rabbits, sheep, and pigs!

Dogs, particularly Labrador Retrievers, were always a part of our family. My dad loves Labs for their intelligence, retrieving/hunting capabilities, and especially their temperament and gentleness around kids. Their nurturing nature created an unbreakable bond between our family and these incredible animals, shaping our lives with unconditional love and unforgettable memories.

Naturally, my dad passed on his love for this great dog to me, and I was excited to receive one (Daisy) as a present from my husband when we got married. I initially intended to breed and raise Labs when my father told me about the Labradoodle several years ago. I thought crossing a Poodle with a Lab sounded crazy, so I set the idea aside.

Daisy is an amazing dog, and the only complaint I have about her is how much she sheds! This, along with the allergy troubles in my family, led me to do more research on Labradoodles and Goldendoodles. This has convinced me that combining the great characteristics of these two dogs is incredible.
